I am spending to much time learning how all this works. I am looking for some basics to reduce the amount of time searching. I know how to post. I have worked slowly through the profile business. Here are some things I wonder about.
- How do you create a contact list to get to everyone's blog site?
- Why does my age on the profile sheet say 1955?
-Is there a way to increase the size of posted photos?
-What are the differences between a blog and a wiki site?
-Can videos be placed on blogs?
-How does the follower business work?
-Is it easier to use the email addresses on mylamar? slberry@my.lamar.edu
-What does the save now tab at the bottom of a new post mean or do for you?

I will try to help you out and I hope this helps...I have my blog open and sign-in to it first. Then I find your blog address from the posts on our discussion board to find your blog. I go to your blog and then I click on "follow" in the top left-hand corner of the page. Then I can choose to follow publicly or privately. I put in my age under my profile, so maybe check there to see what is wrong there. I know that some people have put the links on their blogs to show a video, so that others who wanted to watch could click on the link. ReplyDeleteVery good questions. I think we could learn from all of those. I already did my blog, but I did not make reflections of how I could do it. I think we need to start to inquiry and reflect more. Your blog inspire me to do so. Think and reflect. Good job!

The save now question has to do with saving a draft copy of your blog before you post it. I just ignore it since the auto save feature does it for me. I also type short blogs and post them before I close out my browser, eliminating the need for the save now button.
ReplyDeleteThe contact list is already done for you when you follow a person's blog. You can find if from you launchpad, at least I think that is the term for the startup page. You can also get to other blogs by clicking the picture of the people who are currently following your blog. That brings up a dialog box which has a link to their blog for you to click.
